Start with the work your business needs

A useful bookkeeping comparison begins with your monthly expenses, number of accounts, reporting method and condition of your records. A small shop organizing its first regular close needs a different scope from a business managing receivables, multiple accounts or weekly reporting. The prices below are Missionary Ridge’s published plans, not an estimate of what every Chattanooga firm charges.

02

Creek: a monthly foundation

Creek is $299 per month for a small shop or side hustle with up to $15K in monthly expenses. It includes cash basis bookkeeping, a dedicated bookkeeper, bank and credit card reconciliations, and a monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. The annual option is $3,050; its displayed monthly equivalent of $254 is rounded.

03

Current: a broader financial picture

Current is $549 per month for businesses with up to $75K in monthly expenses. It supports cash or accrual bookkeeping, a dedicated bookkeeper, up to three reconciled accounts, accounts payable and receivable tracking, and monthly financial statements plus a cash flow report. The annual option is $5,600, displayed as a rounded $467 monthly equivalent.

04

River and Delta: more frequent or custom support

River is $899 per month for businesses with $75K+ in monthly expenses. It includes accrual bookkeeping, a dedicated bookkeeper with weekly updates, unlimited reconciled accounts, custom management reports and a quarterly review call. Its annual option is $9,170, displayed as a rounded $764 monthly equivalent. Delta is individually quoted for needs such as multiple locations, consolidation, controller level oversight or cash flow forecasting. At a plan boundary, discuss the reporting and support you actually need.

05

Separate ongoing bookkeeping from cleanup

If your books are behind, first establish which periods need attention and whether supporting records are available. Cleanup is scoped separately from the recurring plan. Ask which accounts are covered, who supplies missing records, what reports you receive and when questions are reviewed. Do not assume that payroll, tax filing or all historical cleanup is included in a bookkeeping fee.

06

Compare the full engagement before deciding

Annual totals and monthly payment options are shown on the pricing page. Confirm payment terms, any setup work, exclusions and the agreed scope in writing. Bring recent statements, your accounting software details and a list of reporting questions to the consultation. Arrange secure document sharing before sending financial records.
